āWomen must be healthy and strong, filled with our life-force energy and fulfilled in our Souls for Mother Earth to thrive. It is the only way.ā

The Essence of Full Bloom Care
Mothers are the care-givers and tenders of life. They are the source and epicenter of our families and communities. Therefore, inevitably, the health of mothers directly affects the health of all. Healthy and thriving families and communities are born through the health of our mothers. We must resource mothers with what they need, especially during the postpartum time. The care provided to mothers after birth ensures the health of our future generations. My vision is to reignite the knowledge and necessity of care mothers need in order to thrive and, in turn, for children and communities to thrive as well.

Postpartum Care
The postpartum time in our culture has become synonymous with depression, anxiety, autoimmune disease, overwhelm, exhaustion, relational stress with partners and loved ones and various other difficult and unwanted situations and conditions. Postpartum care and support is available to women and their families to reduce the probability of such difficulties. Despite what has been normalized, a postpartum experience, such as the one described above, is not normal. In order to be well throughout postpartum, women must receive and accept the help and support that is available and offered to them.
Full Bloom Postpartum Care is the holistic community-oriented care that mothers need throughout the six week period after giving birth. A new mother can not solely provide herself with this level of care nor can it fall entirely on her partner, which we so often see. New mothers are just as vulnerable as their babies and the care that mothers need requires a community of consistent support. This is what Full Bloom Postpartum Care aims to provide, a multi-layered continuum of support so mothers feel just as swaddled as their babies.
